On the auspicious occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's birth anniversary, NISTI and NSUT, Dwarka, joined hands to weave a tapestry of celebration and collaboration on January 23, 2024.
Professor Shampa Chakraverty, Dean of the Faculty of Design at NSUT, ushered in the event with a warm welcome, while Dr. Vijay Yadav, NISTI Secretary, delved into NISTI's rich history and commitment to textile innovation.
Distinguished leaders, including Dr. Vinod Shanbhag and Dr. K.K. Sharma, shared invaluable perspectives with NSUT students. Professor Nien Siao's exploration of "Application of Design Thinking Skills Towards Viksit Bharat" added a creative flourish, and Mr. Vijay Kumar Mathur, DG & CEO of ATDC, extended insights and internship opportunities.
The apex of the day was the symbolic MoU signing, orchestrated by Chairman Dr. R.A. Lal and NSUT's Registrar Prof Shailendra Kumar Jha. This significant ceremony, strategically chosen to align with Netaji's birth anniversary, reflects a commitment to enhancing student experiences and fostering academic and industrial growth.
The event concluded with Mr. AN Bajpai, Jt Secy NISTI, providing a thoughtful summary, and Prof KN Chatterjee expressing gratitude. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof Anand Srivastava addressed the students, emphasizing NISTI's role in periodically reviewing the MoU's progress.
